It's been a long, exciting evening!!!

It has been a fun evening with our new friend Trace! Trace is Wade's girlfriends son and he is a hoot! The boys had a blast getting to know him and they played so hard that they were all exhausted!

The boys looked so handsome this morning I just had to get a picture! It amazes me how fast they are growing up! Connor is really showing the signs of becoming a boy!!!! It happens way to fast!

Soccer Season 2009!

Tonight soccer started and I have to say that I was completely surprised, the boys did AWESOME! I think we might have found their sport...they LOVED it and I LOVED how it wore them out! I got some great shots of them in action and they have some moves!!!! This should be an interesting season!

Connor's First day of Pre-K!!!!

My baby boy is getting SO big! He started Pre-K this morning at Pflugerville Communtiy Church and he was SO excited. Right when he got up he was ready to go. Let's get dressed mom, let's eat breakfast, I am ready!!! Here is a conversation this morning about his hair:

Me: Connor come on in the bathroom and you can brush your teeth!
C: Mom, you have to make my hair bald today!
Me: Bald? What do you mean son, I can't make your hair bald!?
C: You know, make it flat on my head!!!!!


He did look handsome this morning, his "bald" head and all!!!!!


So I picked Connor up from school and the first thing the teacher said was, "He has never meet a stranger huh?" Well, no as she continued to tell me how he talked her ear off all day!

As we were walking to the van he informed me that he has homework tonight, I said really Wow, first day and homework already, he said yeah but mine is different kind of homework. I said really why is it different. Mom, mine is the kind you do at home! Oh ok!

I meet a new friend today and we played together and sat by each other all day. Really COnnor, what is his name? I don't know but he had on a power rangers shirt!!!!

The things they remember! It was a GOOD DAY!!!!

Up a ladder without a step!!!!

At the cabin this past weekend there was a loft, that was pretty big! So since it was nasty outside, the boys stayed in that loft ALOT: watched movies, played with their toys, built tents, etc. I think they climbed up and down that ladder a million times, it wore me out!!!! But Noah came to me a one point and said: "Mom, when we are up there (in the loft), it's like we are up a ladder without a step!" Not exactly sure what that means but it was cute! He knew what it meant!!!

Cantrell Family Reunion 2009!

It was NASTY this weekend.....Rain Rain and more Rain!!!!! Mud, Rain, wet clothes, wet towels, wet everything! We had a good time though rain and all! We got to see the family and spend some time together and I do mean together in our little cabin in the woods down by the river, I mean lake!!!!! I always say, "Good Times, Good Times!!!!"

Update on Monkey, aka Witten my nephew!!!

Well, Witten is 3 just about 3 months old now and he is growing SO fast! He is teething now and it won't be much longer until he is moving everywhere! He is so precious, he smile and goos all the time! It is just amazing to see how wonderful a blessing little ones are! I absolutely LOVE being an Aunt and I see now how my sister feels about my boys. He is just great! Here are some recent pictures of him!!!

Ever think about the other side of a cloudy day?

Yesterday as we were in the van going to get dinner, my youngest (most challenging son) said:

C: It sure is alot of clouds in the sky, where is the sun?

Me: Well it's behind the clouds, baby!

C: (after several minutes of contemplation) I think God needed the sun today so His children at home can play outside!

Me: (choking back tears) I bet you are absolutely right baby!!!!

WOW, their little minds are so precious! I never think about the other side of a cloudy day but you know what!? That just might be the case! Children are so precious!!!!! God really does bless us with our children! A gift and blessing they are, EVERY single one!!!!!

Noah doing a good deed!

Tim was here this weekend, so Noah decided he was going to wash his car for him and then wach it dry so he could make sure it looked good!!! He has such a sweet heart! He sprayed the car down with the hose and then chilled out and watched it dry!
